Hi, I'm Chris Jackson, a Microsoft Solutions Consultant based in Birmingham, UK.
I spend my days designing and shipping production business applications, integrations, and AI solutions across Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and Azure. Lately, a lot of that work has centred on applied AI: building things like multi-agent solutions over Azure AI Search and OpenAI, retrieval-augmented systems with Semantic Kernel, and automations that turn painful manual processes into something that takes minutes instead of days.
I started this blog because I've got a folder full of things I've learned the hard way and sharing them beats letting them get lost. Expect practical, hands-on writing about the Microsoft stack and AI engineering: what actually works in production, where the sharp edges are, and how to build secure, enterprise-grade solutions without the fluff.
When I'm not working, I'm usually tinkering — most recently building out a home server running half a dozen self-hosted services to replace my reliance on paying for cloud services, which taught me more about DNS and Linux than I ever expected.
